🔒 Privacy Policy

When you sign up, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and a username you choose. When you use the app, we store your match picks and scores. We do not collect your phone number, payment details, address, or any other personal information.

Your email is used solely for account login and authentication. Your username is displayed publicly on leaderboards. Your picks are stored to calculate scores and display results to you and other league members. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand how the app is used. This data is anonymised and aggregated — it does not identify you personally. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to authorised personnel only. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or until you request deletion.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can update your username and name from within the app. To request full account and data deletion, contact us at support.pickstrike@gmail.com and we will process your request within 30 days.

For users in India, we comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023. We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the service ("data minimisation"). You provided explicit consent at signup. You may withdraw consent and request erasure at any time by contacting us. We do not transfer your data outside India to countries not approved under the DPDP Act without your consent.

If you are located in the European Union, your data is processed in accordance with GDPR principles including lawful basis of processing (consent and legitimate interests), data minimisation, and your right to erasure. For other jurisdictions, we apply equivalent protections to the best of our ability.

PickStrike is intended for users aged 18 and above. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it immediately.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
